It’s seems like the countries in Asia has got portion of its past glory, from the increasing grow of economy, the famous tradition, and in architectural world, the rising of Asian modern interior. It was been a long time since Asian decoration style has a place in western culture, and nowadays it comes back to its past glory. Asian interior is identical with relaxed, warm and having more natural element in it. Just like Japanese with their Zen belief, or Chinese with its Feng Shui, where natural element plays a significant role in the balance of energy in the home design.
Vic Nguyen, a Vietnamese designer with strong South East Asian culture background is one of some Asian designer that brought back the Asian architecture to its glory. With his new project, a contemporary home with some Asian modern interior design combination he managed to create an exquisite home interior design which provides a calm, laid-back atmosphere for their busy owner. One more thing: it is full of wooden material and some nice lighting plays, which offers a peaceful Zen-like atmosphere in it.
Every window in this home has a lined sun screen that creates a unique horizontal shadow to the room, which increase the mystical feeling of the home. Starts from the living room, where you can see a meditating Buddha sculpture in the middle of modern interior decoration. The warm feeling from Buddha statue blended perfectly with the other furniture in the home, including the modern white sofa in front of it.
Other room however shows more eastern and western tradition at different level. The minimalist kitchen, for example, is full of wooden furniture, including the dining area. The living area in front shows a huge contrast with its all white room decoration, with white sectional sofas, wall, chair and carpet, with a cooler tone than the dining area. Well, it is something that makes this asian modern interior design ideas unique, so it can have a place both in eastern or western world of architecture, cool isn’t it?
